The Kingdom of Heaven

Mission: Mexico was an unforgettable experience in so many ways. As a first-time visitor, I was surprised by a number of wonderful things. The Yucatan Peninsula is filled with God-loving people. They generously give out of the little that they have. They serve with such joy that honors the Lord and blesses people like David and myself. 

Many of them are but children in the eyes of the world. Yet in the gospel, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14 ESV). 

In all the churches we visited these children came forward during the altar time with an attitude of worship. What a precious sight to see! It was both a blessing and a privilege to be able to minister and pray with them. May these children continue to come to Jesus and never depart from His kingdom teachings.

With prayer and fasting, and generous support from our ministry partners, David and I went to be a channel of blessing in Mexico. At the end of our trip, I had to admit, we were immensely blessed ourselves. All glory to God!
